X-Factor hopeful signs record deal

THE X Factor contestant Ben Mills, who was voted off the ITV talent show in the semi-finals, has signed a five-album deal with Sony BMG.

Mills, 26, who is releasing his own material and songs from the show, has joined the same label as the winner, Leona Lewis, and the runner-up, Ray Quinn.
