Under the Radar: Mt Doubt

Mt Doubt began two years ago in Edinburgh as the solo project of singer-songwriter Leo Bargery, and is now a very promising sextet. They release latest single Tourists through Scottish Fiction records on 31 March as a split 7' vinyl alongside Dunfermline band Foreignfox (with their single Lights Off Carry Me Home).

Mt Doubt have been on our radar for a while. They’ve played T In The Park, supported artists like White Lies and Admiral Fallow, and Bargery’s distinctive vocals and accomplished songwriting have led to airplay on Roddy Hart’s BBC Radio Scotland show and BBC 6 Music. See Mt Doubt and Foreignfox perform live together on 7 April at Beat Generator in Dundee and on 8 April at Nice ’N’ Sleazy in Glasgow. Support for both gigs comes from young Edinburgh quartet Skjør, who we featured last year. Listen to Tourists at https://soundcloud.com/mtdoubt
