Under the Radar: Seil Lien

Glasgow’s Seil Lien is the brainchild of musician, artist and sculptor Marie-Claire. Their single, A Little While More, was synced on a series of Boots TV adverts after being picked up by Ninja Tune, and their album, Shatter, is released this Friday.

They’ve been championed by Johnnie Walker on The Rock Show on BBC Radio 2, Prog Magazine, Billy Sloan on BBC Radio Scotland, Planet Rock and smaller blogs such as Scots Whay Hae!

Marie-Claire also stood in for Shirley Manson last year on the 30th Anniversary tour of Goodbye Mr Mackenzie. Scheduled album launch gigs at The Old Hairdresser’s in Glasgow and The Water Rats in London have, of course, been postponed until later in the year, however fans can watch a live stream on Seil Lien’s Facebook page on Friday at 8pm, see https://www.facebook.com/SEILLIEN/.
