Under the Radar: Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi is a gifted young singer-songwriter from Bathgate in West Lothian. We first saw him tour with youth music project Hit The Road a few years ago, and he's been one to watch ever since.

Fast-forward to the present day and he sold out Glasgow’s King Tut’s in January and his debut single, Bruises, released only nine days ago, has over one million plays via Spotify. Capaldi boasts a distinctive, powerful voice and possesses an uncanny ability to turn personal, poignant lyrics into hit songs with universal appeal. It’s clear this rising star is poised to make a significant impact. See the young songwriter live on Wednesday at The Tunnels in Aberdeen, the Ironworks in Inverness on Thursday and The Mash House in Edinburgh on Friday.
