Theatre review: Lies. All Lies.

Created by a gender-balanced quartet of performers who are all alumni of the East 15 Acting School, this series of vignettes based very loosely around the concept of lies was created in workshop, and they all have a loose quality.

Star rating: **

Venue: Laughing Horse @ Bar 50 (Venue 151)

A middle-aged divorcee creates an online dating persona. A young woman comes to terms with her relationship with her mother. Most impressively, a passionate rebuttal of racial politics is delivered as performance poetry.

Yet the content is light, the characters only delved into as sketches, and it all feels somewhat whimsical and half-cooked.

Until 19 August. Today, 11pm.
