Theatre review: Generation Zero

Picture a world where the effects of climate change have damaged our lives forever.

Star rating: **

Venue: ZOO Southside (Venue 82)

Done that? Good. You now have no reason to endure this vague, clumsy drama about a couple falling apart as a result of global warming. The blossoming and decay of their relationship doesn’t sustain dramatic interest either as a metaphor for – and I’m being generous with this interpretation – humankind’s inevitable demise, or as a romantic tragedy in its own right. Though capably performed, it all adds up to nothing.

Until 29 August. Today 2:15pm.
