Theatre review: Emoji
The core idea and the production values of this Imperial College London drama society show are sound.

There are identifying cast T-shirts and a well-made phone screen back-projection telling the story of text message emoji and their imagined interactions, from the preening love heart to the arrogant middle finger and the plain weird aubergine.
Sadly all this is let down by a repertoire of acting talents which is amateur at best.
