Were your school days the best days of your life? I’m only 19 so I don’t have much to go on.

What was your first job? I ‘modelled’ big woolly jumpers for kids when I was eight and got paid about twenty quid.

My biggest achievement so far has been... Writing and recording our first album, Fully Cocked.

My worst moment ever was... When my mum got cancer.

Three words that sum up my personality are... ‘Laid-back Ferry lad’, according to someone sitting next to me.

Favourite place in the world? Not travelled enough to say. Until I find it I’ll say the farm I grew up on outside South Queensferry. That or Smithies pub.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are... Smithies pub, Banana Row and Sneaky Pete’s.

If you could bring one show to Edinburgh what would it be? The Clash playing with the Pogues and the Bhundu Boys. But sadly it won’t happen.

By what ethos do you live your life? Don’t be an arse!
