Sixth Potter adventure on way says JK

EDINBURGH author JK Rowling has told Harry Potter fans she is well under way with the sixth book in the phenomenally popular series.

On her website, Rowling, 38, says: "Book six is well under way, hooray, although I still have a large and complicated book on my desk to remind me what happens where.

"I am really enjoying this book, though for the first time I am conscious that I am approaching the end of the series.

"So much of what happens in book six relates to book seven that I feel almost as though they are two halves of the same novel."

The author, who lives in the Merchiston area of the Capital, said she had taken time off during the first year after her son, David, was born but is now back writing.

Rowling also revealed that snippets of information on book six will be on the site if fans "can work out where to look".
