Rab C Nesbitt painting to auction for thousands

String-VESTED icon Rab C Nesbitt has been given the keys to Number 10 in a painting tipped to fetch thousands of pounds at a Capital auction.

Kim Aitchison was showing off the work of artist Beryl Cook at Lyon & Turnbull, in Broughton Place.

It will be sold with a collection of letters between Cook and Rab C Nesbitt actor Gregor Fisher – and is expected to bring in a figure in the region of £6000-£8000.
