PREVIEW: The Music of Lord of the Rings and Beyond coming to Glasgow

Epic and inspirational music from film and TV blockbusters Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Game of Thrones and beyond will be performed live at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

The worlds of TV, film and fantasy will be brought to life by a full symphony orchestra and stunning choir in an unmissable concert featuring some of the greatest movie soundtracks of all time.

It features music from Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, The Witcher, Game of Thrones, Dragonheart, The Chronicles of Narnia, How To Train Your Dragon, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars and Avatar.

Conducted by Toby Purser the concert will be performed by the Scottish Concert Orchestra and the choir of the Scottish Concert Voices.

World renowned classical, jazz, pop, rock and folk artists take to its stages for nearly 250 performances each year.
