In pictures: From Scotland With Love - New York Tartan Week

SCOTTISH rugby stars showed model behaviour alongside actors and musicians as they strutted down the catwalk in New York to herald the start of the city’s Tartan Week.

Scotland lock Richie Gray and former Scotland player Thom Evans - attending with girlfriend Kelly Brook - were on hand to help the city celebrate Scottish culture at From Scotland With Love, an event which forms part of New York’s annual Tartan Week celebrations. The event is believed to be the largest of its kind in the world outside Scotland.

From Scotland With Love, now in its 10th year, also drew stars from beyond Scotland, with Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, American actor Matthew Modine and The B-52s frontman Fred Schneider also among those in attendance.

Proceeds from the event, held in Times Square’s Liberty Theatre, are to go to a US armed forces charity and Cash For Kids, a Scottish children’s charity.
