Fans are set to have their patience rewarded with the appropriately named follow up, New Way To Be, which is also destined to win over new admirers when it appears later in the year. Currently being recorded with Jim Sutherland, who has produced many leading Scottish folk acts, the new material demonstrates a strong songwriting talent, more than able to transition out of the fiddlers’ ghetto and onto the airwaves. Radio Scotland’s Janice Forsyth is an early adopter and is set to feature the single, Good Things, on her show. It gives a taste of some even more impressive tracks to come and we recommend keeping an ear out for Perfect As We Are at one of next month’s live shows in Edinburgh (9 April), Glasgow (10 April) or Inverness (16 April).
