New Scottish music: Elle Exxe
Hailing from Edinburgh, she has been making waves in the US, garnering airplay on more than 60 radio stations.
On the live front she has headlined Koko in London and is due to play two of the world’s largest showcase events – The Great Escape and Canadian Music Week – in the early summer, to coincide with the release of her debut album. Several tracks have already been picked up for syncs, including two seconds from her single Lost In LA, used on a worldwide ad for Android. And this month also sees her song Home With You (for which she directed and edited the video) added to in-store playlists in H&M, Puma and Billabong shops. Elle Exxe is undoubtedly an artist to listen and look out for.
