Nicky has collated images taken by Skye photographer Joan Wilcocks between the late 1950s and early 1970s, and is using them to create an outdoor exhibition and opening event.

A number of pictures will be installed as outdoor banners and projected both indoors and outside in the village of Kyleakin on Saturday 19 March.

Kyleakin was known as the ‘gateway to Skye,’ before the opening of the Skye road bridge in 1995 bypassed the village.

Nicky is currently the PhD Coordinator (Fine Art & Design) at the Glasgow School of Art.
