Gig preview: Enter Shakiri, Liquid Room, Monday 27 Sep

GENRE-bending rock band Enter Shikari visit the Liquid Room on Monday night where they’ll perform the best bits from recent album A Flash Flood Of Colour.

The St Albans boys have scooped the Best Live Band gong at the Kerrang! Awards twice, so you can expect an amazing show in the Capital.

“We just put so much energy in,” says guitarist Rory Clewlow. “There are bands where you can tell the main thing they are thinking is ‘I’ve got to try to look as cool as possible, I’m not going to move.’ But we don’t care about that. We just like to have fun and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

“As time moves on we care less and less about what people think. When the first album dropped we were worried about the reviews. By the second album we cared a bit less and by the last album we realised it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks. We just do what we want.

“It’s the same with our live performances - we just do what we want and put as much energy in.”
