Festival lays down the law

The programme for next month’s Edinburgh World Justice Festival has been revealed.

Taking place from October 6-18 in various city centre venues, the festival will bring together talks, film screenings, musical events and even a whisky tasting, organised by charities and pressure groups.

The festival kicks off with a discussion on how ordinary people can take back control of the economy, organised by Jubilee Scotland, Christian Aid, Oxfam, the World Development Movement and Friends of the Earth Scotland.
