What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A lovely black and white Moschino dress that I picked up in London. I was meant to be on a leather buying trip, but somehow ended up in a boutique.

What are you addicted to buying?

Dresses. I find them so easy to wear for work and going out.

Best ever bargain?

A black satin Gucci evening dress that was reduced by over 80 per cent and cost me £300 (which was a fortune) but in terms of wear it has paid itself back over the past three years and I expect it will continue to do so.

Who has great style?

I have always loved the iconic style of Coco Chanel, but I also like the off the wall look of Tilda Swinton and Anna Dello Russo.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Karen Millen and Reiss. Then of course there are the very addictive websites such as www.lkbennett.com which seems to magic money out of my pocket.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

I’ve experienced many a fashion faux pas in my past, but now I stick to what suits me.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My Christmas present from my husband, which was a warm sheepskin shaggy coat in black and white.
