Famous sign for Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom gets some TLC

Ian Kyle Harper, 27, gets to work on a repair to the Barrowland Ballroom's iconic signage, believed to be the biggest of its kind in the UK.

Opened in 1934, the Gallowgate arena is one of Scotland’s best-loved concert venues. With a capacity of around 2,100, the Barrowland has hosted bands such as Oasis, U2, The Clash, Big Country, LCD Soundsystem and Muse. Simple Minds also filmed 1983 single Waterfront at the venue.
