Fake that and party with Back For Good

‘IT only takes a minute girl, to fall in love...’ That’s what Mark, Gary, Howard, Robbie and Jason discovered way back in 1990 when Take That gave the term boyband a whole new lease of life.

There’s a chance to relive those heady days of pop at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Saturday when Back For Good returns to the Greenside Place venue for one night only.

Between 1991 and 1996, Take That sold more than 19 milllion records, dominating the charts with hits such as A Million Love Songs, Relight My Fire and Everything Changes. Back For Good is a celebration of those hits and more, including favourites such as Never Forget, Greatest Day, Shine, Babe and Love Ain’t Here Anymore.

Belting out those tracks will be lookalike/soundalikes Daniel Paul Maines as Gary Barlow, Steven Craven as Howard Donald and Matthew Hall as Mark Owen. Joe Currey is Jason Orange while Tony Lewis is Robbie Williams.

They’ll be joined on stage by the Back For Good dancers, whose credits include performing with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Peter Andre.

These boys may not be the real thing, but there’s no one better with whom to fake that and party.

Back For Good, Edinburgh Playhouse, Greenside Place, Saturday, 7.30pm, £19.50, 0844-871 3014
