Dance, physical theatre and circus review: The Birds#1. Corpses

After a while, dancer Stefania Bucci appears on stage and performs some stark, abstract movements to Cantarelli’s narration, incorporating a passage from TS Eliot’s The Waste Land. Despite some scattered moments of beauty (especially in Bucci’s movements), it’s everything that stereotypically turns people off contemporary dance: obscure and self-consciously highbrow.

Until 20 August. Today 9pm.
