It will look into how open the city’s education, healthcare, arts, science, design and entertainment sectors are and what could be done to improve access.
The event, which includes a main conference and smaller ‘salon’ set ups, will culminate with participants agreeing on a way forward and actions as to how the city can be improved.
TEDx Glasgow co-coordinator Victoria Blair Gardner said: “For anyone out there in the city who is looking to volunteer we’ve absolutely got space for you if you have got the right attitude, want to change the world, want to make Glasgow better and if you want to celebrate Glasgow.
“Get in touch with us and tell us what you’d like to do.”
