Comedy review: Eleanor Morton: Angry Young Woman

Edinburgh Festival Fringe: Every comedian requires a persona of some description. For reasons best known to herself, Eleanor Morton has chosen the persona of an ordinary person with nothing funny or interesting to say.

The Stand Comedy Club 3 & 4 (Venue 12)

The theme of her show – the everyday sexism endured by women – is promising, but Morton delivers no fresh insight or surprising comic twists. Her one good gag arrives at the very end of
the show. If you fancy
enduring an hour of her pedestrian comedy to experience it, then knock yourself out.

Until 27 August. Today 12:05pm.
