It may be home to a host of fashion outlets, from Benetton to
Blue Inc, but there’s nothing particularly stylish about London’s
Holloway Road. Fine dining options along the main drag include Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mississippi Fried Chicken, Local Fried Chicken and... well... you get the idea. The street is notable,
however, for being the site of River Island’s first store, which is why the purveyors of restrained-palette
garments have decided to name their latest collection after it. Push your nose into a pair of their tan heritage lace-up boots, take a deep breath, and you can just about smell all that sizzling poultry.
