Best places to see fireworks in Scotland
Meadowbank Annual Fireworks Display - Edinburgh
The Meadowbank Sports Centre will be running ‘the largest fireworks display the city has seen’, according to Edinburgh Leisure.
Tickets for the stadium are sold out but there’s a good chance you might see some fireworks if you happen to be in the vicinity.

Hide AdThe display is due to start at 7,30pm, and lasts for 30 minutes.
Glasgow Green Fireworks
More than 50,000 people are due to head to Glasgow Green for Scotland’s biggest fireworks display.
Kicking off at 4pm, the event will pay tribute to Scotland’s Commonwealth Games stars and other Glasgow ‘heroes’.
Stalls will be selling food and merchandise, with a funfair between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.
The fireworks will start at 7.30pm.
Dundee Baxter Park fireworks
Of the two displays scheduled for the City of Discovery, Baxter Park is the larger.
A bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm before a 25-minute firework display starting at 7pm.
Perth Bonfire Night
Starting at 5pm, Perth Bonfire Night, held at South Inch, is free for all and lasts until 9pm.

Hide AdFeaturing a bonfire, funfair and firework display, the Provost of Perth & Kinross Council will get things underway at 7pm with the lighting of the bonfire.
The Chairman of the Comm Good Fund will count down the firework display just before 7.30pm.
Aberdeen Winter Festival
Aberdeen’s Winter Festival gets underway with a fireworks display on Aberdeen beach, with firewalkers and a charity firewalk included.
The fireworks display set to music is due to start at 7.30pm.
Bonfire Night Inverness
Held at Bught Park in Inverness, the Highland capital’s Bonfire Night starts at 7pm.
Part of the city’s Winter Festival, between 10,000 and 15,000 are expected to attend the show on the banks of the River Ness.
In addition to the fireworks and bonfire, there will be live entertainment from Fire Twirlers and a Pipe and Drums band, and a ‘Guy’ competition.
The fireworks are due to start around 7.50pm.
