While we’re hoping the weather will see us able to enjoy the great outdoors, it’s fair to say that the Scottish climate in early May means anything could happen.
Luckily, with restrictions continuing to ease there will be plenty of indoor options for dreaded rainy days.
Here are 10 of the best galleries and museums that will be open.
Remember that because of social distancing, museums and galleries currently need to be booked in advance – so check a slot is available before leaving.

While the Modern One gallery at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art doesn't open until the middle of May, Modern Two has reopened, giving you the chance to see the blockbuster exhibition 'Ray Harryhausen: Titan of Cinema', featuring the special effects wizard's memorable monsters from film like Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts.
