You're the boss: Hearts

JOSEPH WARDLAW from Dalry believes Hearts must toughen up for tomorrow's visit of St Mirren if they are to claim all three points.

What would your team and formation be? I'd keep the 4-4-2 formation but I feel we need to have a bit more of a physical presence in the side for this match because St Mirren know how to mix it and they'll try to bully us out of the game.

What are St Mirren's strengths and weaknesses? They are a big, physical side and they will definitely look to use high balls and meaty challenges to throw us out of our stride. However, there isn't much quality in their side and their tactics are usually quite one-dimensional.

How will you counter their strengths and exploit their weaknesses? We can't afford to let St Mirren dictate the pattern of the game. We must play our own game and not let their rough stuff affect our concentration. We need to try to keep the ball on the ground and play around them as long ball will just play into their hands.

What do Hearts have to do to win the game? If we can avoid a scrappy, midfield battle, we are very capable of taking the points. We must produce a polished, mature performance to negate their physical style.
