Frank Logan, Niddrie: "In the first half, I think it was even overall, however, we did miss some chances. We got paid back for missing those chances in the second half. I was impressed by Zemmama in the first half because he was running them ragged. We didn't have the support really in the midfield, though. I agreed with Hughes in keeping Zemmama on for the whole of the second half but I don't think Alan Gow was match fit. I would have made some changes at half-time if I had been Hug

Craig Thomson, Edinburgh: "I think Rangers stepped it up in the second half. Gow was quite quiet. We went for it, and got beaten three nil, but we can move on from this – bring on St Johnstone."

Steve McKenzie, Bellevue: "We totally collapsed in the second half. I felt we were okay in the first half, but from the first minute of the second, it was clear that Rangers were hungrier. Very poor and we must take three points from a tricky match at St Johnstone on Wednesday."

Sean Wood, Edinburgh: "We never created enough when we had four up front and I think we paid the price for that. Sometimes we looked scared to shoot in the first half."

Alec Purves, Niddrie: "We were murder – an embarrassment. We were far too negative from the start. I would have had Riordan and Nish in from the start. Gow's not fit, definitely not. Hopefully Nish will be back in for St Johnstone because you miss his height and his aerial ability and threat. I'm very disappointed overall."

John Blair, Newtongrange: "It was a good first half, but a poor second half. Lafferty got far too much room in the second half and Zemmama was posted missing in the second period as well. At half time, Hughes should have taken Benji off and replaced him with Riordan and I think Zemmama should have been replaced after sixty minutes as well. I think when we go to McDiarmid Park on Wednesday we just need to go for it again with four up front. I think overall I was happy with our shape against Rangers but we definitely missed Wotherspoon."

Greig Thomson, Edinburgh: "It was a good performance by Hibs but the referee definitely didn't help. I definitely didn't think it was a penalty. I thought Ian Murray played well, and Zemmama in the first half was pretty good too. I think we'll probably finish third in the SPL this year, maybe second. I thought we could have picked up a win yesterday but I'm not disappointed overall."

Logan Jack, Edinburgh: "In the first half, we were okay, but the second half was murder. Zemmama was the player that really stood out for us in the first half. We should win against St Johnstone on Wednesday I would think, though."

Bryan Phillips, Marchmont: "This was typical of a trip to Ibrox – Rangers get everything It certainly wasn't a 3-0 game and Smith had little to do other than pick the ball out the back of the net but we just need to move on from here."
