Your Views on Hearts' Display

Tommy Reynolds, Danderhall: "A bitterly disappointing display from Hearts. I thought that we would have seen a better response from the team with JJ coming in. We were poor throughout."

Gordon Robb, Longstone: "This game was a perfect illustration of how badly we need a striker. We missed three or four great chances in the second half. That was the difference between no points and three points."

Ryan Lamont, Inch: "If Jim Jefferies didn't realise before how big a task we have in front of him, he certainly does now. I thought that we deserved a point out of the game though because we had some good chances."

Michael Harkins, Leith: "Another really poor display from Hearts. We struggled to create anything in the first half and our sloppy defending cost us dear. Hopefully JJ can improve us but it won't happen overnight."

James Ross, Joppa: "Gary Glen's miss very early on in the second half was a turning point. If he'd put us in front, we probably would have kicked on and taken the points. We must bounce back on Tuesday."

Paul Lewis, Fife: "A bad defeat for Hearts. I don't think that we played well at all and JJ will need time to stamp his authority on the team. David Obua was appalling again and I hope that we've seen the last of him now that JJ has seen him."

Richard Irvine, Riccarton: "The first half was absolutely dire but we looked much better after the break and we were unfortunate to lose the game. Andy Driver being back will give us a welcome boost."

John Allan, Loanhead: "It's not the start that we were hoping for under Jefferies but if we give him time, he can improve us. We desperately need Vlad to sanction the signing of a striker."

Steven Logan, Edinburgh: "This was always a tough one when you consider our injury problems. We nearly got what would have been a good point right at the death and I can't believe that we missed it."

John Petrie, Polwarth: "We were really poor again and everybody knows that we can't score goals. Tuesday is a massive game for us and we will need to play far better to beat St Mirren."
