Alex Barbour, Craigentinny: "A really disappointing performance after last week's high. We just didn't turn up in the second half and we got punished."

Gordon Chalmers, Gilmerton: "We made so many bad errors in this game. Rangers took their chances and we didn't. Marius Zaliukas shouldn't have played as he was very rusty."

David Walker, Roseburn: "We were unlucky to go in behind at half time but the second-half display was awful."

Colin Telfer, Piershill: "A terrible performance. We were too lightweight and Rangers just steamrollered over us. Why wasn't Ryan Stevenson playing?"

George Munro, Prestonfield: "I don't think that we played well but we didn't deserve such a heavy defeat. The scoreline flattered Rangers a wee bit but we weren't good enough."

John Mackinnon, Little France: "I think that the heads went down when we lost the goal so early on in the second half. Some players just didn't show enough fight."

Michael Fleming, Gorebridge: "We were the better side up until they went 2-1 up. After that, we let ourselves down badly. We capitulated in the second half."

Claire Scott, Saughton: "I am really disappointed that we made it so easy for Rangers. You can't afford to defend as poorly as we did here at this level."

Tony Clarke, Tollcross: "I thought that the players worked really hard but we lacked quality when it mattered. The goals we lost were really soft."

David Archibald, Liberton: "Not a good day at the office for Hearts. Losing the goal just after time proved to be a hammer blow to our chances of taking anything from this one."

Wee Keith, Albion Terrace: "How can a team be so dominant one week and the next week be torn to ribbons? Suso drew us level but, from then on, we just fell apart. David Templeton was very lively but did little constructive. Hearts ended up being a well-beaten side. The team would benefit from getting rid of some of the dead wood and bringing in some new players. Maybe JJ is just holding out until the end of the season to have a clear out but something drastic will have to be done to brighten up Tynecastle."
