John Crawford, Wester Hailes: "I feel that's two points dropped rather than one point gained for Hearts. We dominated the second half and Hibs were fortunate to get something from the game."

Richard Hardie, Dalkeith: "I'd have settled for a point before the game but I'm disappointed not to have won. We pressed Hibs well and showed that we can play some good football. Gordon Smith took his goal well but Michael Stewart was the man of the match."

Davie Haldane, Longstone: "We scored against the run of play but so did Hibs as we were cruising in the second half. Gordon Smith took his goal brilliantly. I am satisfied to take a draw out of this match, though."

Malcolm Smith, Penicuik: "A decent display from Hearts but we passed up a number of good chances again and it cost us the chance to win. I thought that the referee had an absolutely shocking match."

Mark Cannon, Currie: "A draw was a fair result. We struggled to get a grip in the first half but we were the better side by a long way after the break. Why was Ruben Palazuelos sent off? He didn't do anything wrong."

Robert Cherry, Sighthill: "It was a cracking derby. There was plenty of passion on show from both teams. We worked really hard and stopped Hibs from playing. Michael Stewart completely ran the midfield and was the best player on the pitch."

Scott Ernest, Edinburgh: "A great chance to close the gap on Hibs has been missed but it keeps our unbeaten run going, which is good for confidence. It was a brilliant finish from Gordon Smith for the goal."

Ali Raeburn, Dalry: "Hibs were more up for it than we were early on but the goal brought us to life. We were far better in the second half and deserved to take at least a point and should have had all three."

Matt Raeburn, Dalry: "If we'd shown a wee bit more confidence in front of goal, we'd have won it. The defending for their equaliser was poor and I feel disappointed not to have beaten them because we saw again that they are nothing special."

Andrew Hume, Riccarton: "We were lucky to be leading at half time but Hibs were lucky to get anything out of the game by the end. We should have had the game dead and buried before Stokes scored."

Paul Seymour, Danderhall: "Both teams will feel that they could have won it. I thought the decision to send Ruben Palazuelos off was very harsh. Had the ref got it right and it was 11 against ten, it might have been a different story."
