Your Views on Hearts' Display

John Roberts, Dalry: "A really good display from Hearts. We took the game to St Mirren from the start and should have won the game much more comfortably than we did but it's another three points on the board."

Donna Butler, Gorgie: "A vital win for Hearts but we are still lacking the cutting edge to kill teams off. If we sign a striker before the transfer window closes, we can definitely push on for a European place."

Graham Bishop, Craiglockhart: "It was a good performance from Hearts and we deserved to win. I don't know why Laszlo persists with Nade when we have so many good youngsters available though."

Colin Hunter, Newtongrange: "I thought that we always looked in control of the game and completely deserved the points. The players deserve a lot of credit for putting such a good run together in the last few weeks."

Alan Markham, Stockbridge: "It wasn't a great performance but we managed to pick up the win. Results are always more important than performances and we're showing lots of character to dig out the results at the moment."

Graeme Stevenson, Moredun: "A huge improvement on the fiasco at Pittodrie. Stewart, Nade and Templeton were all in great form but Scott Robinson was the man of the match. His efforts definitely deserved a goal."

Michael Harkins, Leith: "A good, positive Hearts performance. We deserved more luck in front of goal than we got. The only negative was the performance of the ref. How St Mirren finished the game with 11 men is beyond me."

Steven Brodie, Tollcross: "We got off to a great start and deserved our goal. However, we struggled to put the ball in the net again. If we had a good goalscorer, we'd be up challenging the Old Firm because we're doing well despite having so few options."

Richard Thomson, Straiton: "It's not like watching Brazil but it's definitely effective. League tables don't tell lies and Hearts are genuine European contenders again."

Jack Birrell, Portobello: "After last week's disappointment, it was important that we bounced back here and we did that. It's a massive boost to see so many good youngsters coming through. Scott Robinson was my man of the match."

Gordon Major, Fountainbridge: "Csaba's decision to blood a few youngsters is paying dividends. It has made such a huge difference to the team. We fight for everything now and there is a togetherness that was missing in the early part of the season."

Iain Robson, Riccarton: "We were the dominant side but we couldn't kill them off and were left hanging on. However, our defence looks much more solid now and we held on for the win."
