Youngsters enjoy shooting the hoops

BASKETBALL: Thirty youngsters between the ages of 9 and 14 from around schools in the Highlands were at Millburn Academy in Inverness for three days of non-stop basketball fun over the weekend.

The camp was run by Highland development officer John Kerray in partnership with the Highland council, Basketball Highland, Millburn Academy and the Bears basketball club.

The schedule was packed with a variety of activities, including a shooting clinic and competitions, one v one and three v three skills, Nike SPARQ training and then a big game where the campers showed off their new-found skills at the end of each day.
