Wimbledon 2022: Jamie Murray: "I want to top Andy"

Jamie Murray is determined to outdo his brother – by going further in Wimbledon’s mixed doubles and winning the competition.

Andy and Serena Williams reached the third round in 2019 and now Jamie has teamed up with Serena’s sister Venus, the star pairing winning their opening match against Michael Venus (New Zealand) and Alicja Rosolska (Poland) 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3.

"Sure we’re better than them,” joked Jamie afterwards. “We’re in it to win it.” Venus said: “I’ve wanted to partner him for ever. He plays hard to get!”
