Whitekirk to stage next Pro Tour event

OPTICAL EXPRESS TOUR: Next week’s fifth event on the circuit, due to be held at Letham Grange, has been switched to Whitekirk in East Lothian. “The decision was taken when I met with Nick Jackson, captain of Letham Grange, on my recent site visit there,” said tournament director Alan Tait.

“While I was impressed with the great progress the members themselves have made in returning Letham Grange to its former glory, we both felt that the course, facilities and the Optical Express Pro Golf Tour would benefit from another 12 months.

“We look forward to going there in the future, but I am delighted that Whitekirk were able to step in and facilitate the Tour this year. Several adjustments have been made there in recent years to enhance playability.”
