Webster among Senior qualifiers

Tartan Tour pro Alastair Webster led a group of four Scots through qualifying for this week's Senior British Open at Carnoustie.

Webster topped the standings at Panmure with a one-over 71, while David Gilchrist joined him. At Monifieth, Fraser Mann earned his first start in a senior major with a one-under 70. Dundee amateur Graham Bell also sealed a coveted spot with a 72. Play at Downfield was suspended due to heavy rain.
