Volleyball: Shauna wins

Edinburgh's Shauna Mullin is scaling new heights on the world beach volleyball circuit as she closes in on next summer's Olympic Games in London.

Mullin and England's Zara Dampney gained their first win in the main draw of the FIVB Grand Slam, beating Norwegians Janne Kongshavn and Ragnhild Aas 17-21, 21-18, 15-11 in Stavanger, Norway.

They had to be content with third place in their group after losing to Czech pair Krystina Kolocova and Marketa Sukova. But they still progressed and now face Brazilians Maria Clara and Carol Salgado.
