Volleyball: Nuvoc fail in promotion bid

PENTLAND NUVOC missed out on promotion to the women's first division of the Schelde Sports Scottish Volleyball League despite beating Glasgow Mets.

The Edinburgh side, who finished second in Division Two, had a 22-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-22 win in the second leg of the promotion-relegation play-offs but Mets had taken the first leg in straight sets and won 4-3 on aggregate.
