Volleyball: City ready for Bon Accord test

CITY OF EDINBURGH face Bon Accord in this weekend's Schelde Scottish Volleyball League play-off semi-finals.

With their treble dream ended by City of Glasgow Ragazzi in the Scottish Cup, the Capital side are now fully focused on winning their first league title, but they will be on their guard as they host Bon Accord at South Queensferry tomorrow and then travel to Aberdeen for the second leg on Sunday.

The winners will face Glasgow Mets or Kilmarnock to decide the title in a best-of-three decider next month.

In the women's play-offs, a Capital side is guaranteed a place in the final with City of Edinburgh facing Edinburgh Jets in an all-east semi-final and Su Ragazzi taking on Troon PA in the other.
