Volleyball: City of Edinburgh set for decider

CITY of Edinburgh face a best-of-three Schelde Sports Scottish Women's Volleyball League decider against Troon PA this weekend.

Champions Troon will be without the experienced Gillian Lyall and their coach Vince Krawczyk maintains that Edinburgh are the best team in Scotland.

He said: "We've played Edinburgh four times this season, won two and lost two, but we've never had a full team yet," said Krawczyk. "But Edinburgh are the best team in Scotland just now and we're the underdogs."

In the men's title play-offs, City of Edinburgh are on the brink of their first championship and take on Kilmarnock.
