Volleyball: City of Edinburgh remain on course for league title

City of Edinburgh kept their four-point advantage at the top of the men’s Schelde Sports Scottish Volleyball League without firing on all cylinders against Bon Accord in Aberdeen.

They were just happy to come away with a 27-25, 20-25,
25-11, 25-23 win on a day when the points were more important than the performance.

Edinburgh have some breathing space at the top but player-coach Barry McGuigan will be looking for more from his players in the weeks ahead.
