Ross Murdoch stunned Tollcross by maintaining his fine recent form to claim gold in the 200m breaststroke and edge out the team’s ‘poster boy’ Michael Jamieson in the process. In this ‘Scotsman at the Games’ episode, Murdoch reveals that Jamieson had taken time out of the athletes village to recover from his disappointment but that the two remain good friends.

Daniel Wallace also recalls his success and decision to wear the special Games kilt ahead of his final performance, and on the medal podium, and having claimed a gold and two silver he and Murdoch - who added a bronze to his gold - are convinced that Scottish swimming will be well represented when the Great Britain team take to the Olympics in Brazil in 2016.
