SCOTTISH lawn bowler Alex Marshall insisted that he “got a bit carried away” when he gave a traditional cross-arm gesture to the crowd after beating England at the weekend, but the popular Scot had no regrets after striking his third gold medal.
Marshall delivered two key bowls en route to the last four win against the English team and the followed the lead of his partner Paul Foster in Sunday’s storming final performance against Malaysia.
