THREE weeks ahead of the 
Ryder Cup, an East Lothian course is hosting another Transatlantic contest next week.

Students from Stirling University and Stanford University, Tiger Woods’ old stomping ground in California, will meet on Tuesday in a match at The Renaissance Club.

“The Stanford Alum/donors are staying here and have some pretty influential characters amongst them,” said Renaissance membership director 
Simon Holt. “It should be a great day with great golf and a great advert for Transatlantic university relations.”
