ALLOA ATHLETIC v STIRLING ALBION

Leaders Alloa are looking to complete a clean sweep of victories against neighbours and title rivals Stirling Albion, although the Recreation Park player pool is getting stretched very finely.

Full-back David McClune may return to the side, however there are doubts over Hugh Kerr and Brown Ferguson

Alloa manager Allan Maitland said: "We have been asking boys to do a man's job for a couple of weeks now and that will be still be the case in this game. Stirling will be going all out to beat us for a number of reasons and not just to help their promotion claims."

Stirling Albion midfielder Stewart Devine remains out after his hernia problems, but manager Allan Moore is desperate to end his side's poor run against Alloa.

"We have suffered three defeats against Alloa so far and it is time to stop that run," he said.

COWDENBEATH v CLYDE

Second-placed Cowdenbeath lost ground to Alloa at the weekend when they were held to a goalless draw by Dumbarton and manager Danny Lennon is out to repeat his side's 2-1 success against Clyde at their Broadwood home a week past Saturday.

Striker Gareth Wardlaw is suspended with John Dempster likely to start in his place with only young midfielder Danny MacKay unavailable due to injury.

Clyde welcome back regular first choice goalkeeper Callum Reidford after suspension, however full back Neil McGowan drops out after his sending off at Brechin City on Saturday. Goalkeeper Scott Findlay is out injured as are midfielders Kevin Higgins and Scott Howarth.

DUMBARTON v STENHOUSEMUIR

Dumbarton will be looking to move above their visitors in the table and a win will also keep alive their hopes of sneaking into a play-off spot between now and the end of the season.

Martin McNiff is likely to miss out with an ankle injury as will midfield Ross Clark with a calf problem.

It is a case of one in and one out for Stenhousemuir as midfielder Kevin Motion is available after suspension, however Iain Thomson drops out after being dismissed in the clash with Alloa at the weekend. Striker Andy Brand remains out with a knee problem.

PETERHEAD v EAST FIFE

Peterhead manager Neale Cooper has asked his players for more of the same after they saw off Arbroath 3-0 at the weekend to end a worrying spell for the Balmoor club.

The injured trio of defender Callum Macdonald, midfielder Nicky Clark and striker David Ross are expected to miss out.

East Fife player boss Steve Crawford looks set to restore himself to the starting line-up after being a substitute during their 3-0 defeat by Stirling Albion at the weekend. Crawford is likely to start in place of the suspended Paul McManus.

Defender John Ovenstone is a doubt with an ankle problem, however Goran Stanic, Scott Thomson and Mark Staunton remain unavailable to Crawford because of injury with recently signed former Raith Rovers player Andrew Cook in line for a starting debut after half an hour as a substitute on Saturday.
