U19s to take bow

CELTIC's league and cup-double winning under-19 side will take a bow at Parkhead on Sunday when they parade their trophies at half-time in the SPL match against Dundee United.

Celtic won the SFA Youth Cup on Wednesday in dramatic fashion with a 2-1 extra-time win over arch-rivals Rangers at Hampden. The winning goal was scored by Liam Gormley in the 110th minute - one minute after he had entered the fray from the substitutes' bench.

Celtic's under-19 coach Tommy McIntyre said: "It's all about big nights like this. They've shown great mental strength. They've worked so hard and it's really great to reward them like this."
