Triathlon: Brownlee triumphs in British one-two

Britain's Jonathan Brownlee led a British one-two by winning the 2010 Lausanne ITU Elite Sprint Triathlon World Championships yesterday.

Brownlee edged team-mate Tim Don at the inaugural event, performing strongly in the 71-man field in the swimming and leading the 20km bike course alongside fellow Briton Harry Wiltshire. Brownlee maintained control alongside Don in the run before breaking 2.5km from the finishing line to win by 12 seconds.

Brownlee said: "I think I have a bit more experience at this kind of race than a lot of these guys and that helped."
