Trampolinists make great leap forward

EDINBURGH trampolinists are gearing up for the Scottish National Championships in Perth on the 18th of this month after the under-15s won a bronze medal at the UK championships in Birmingham.

The success of the club, formed in 2006, is attracting many youngsters and adults and prompted new Saturday morning classes at their base at Lasswade High School. And the club has also introduced a hour long Bouncing Babes (0-3 plus parent) class on Sundays at 4.30pm, with an adult recreational class at the same time.

Head coach Lauren Jeffrey said: "We offer something for everyone, from babies to adults. It's a great, fun way to keep fit and everyone loves it, small kids and big kids. We have fully qualified coaching from four years up to adults, all levels and abilities."

There are three, hour long, sessions of recreational classes on Saturdays, beginning at 1.30pm. www.cityofedinburgh trampolineclub.co.uk for more.
