Traitor taunts will not faze Leonardo

NEW Inter Milan manager Leonardo understands if AC Milan fans consider him a traitor.

The Brazilian, who managed Milan last season and spent much of his playing career with the Rossoneri, was unveiled by Inter yesterday, replacing the departed Rafa Benitez.

Leonardo said: "I respect the views of others, so if they think I'm a traitor, I realise that it's a view born of emotions. And it's okay if my former players have trouble forming an opinion of me."

Leonardo says he'll "never forget" what he accomplished with Milan, but is now focused on Inter.
