Tilley wins yet again in Super Combi

Scotland’s Alex Tilley remains unbeaten at the Delancey British Ski Championships in Meribel, but the Aberdeen skier anticipates that the next few days of technical racing, slalom and giant slalom, could see her advantage over compatriot Charlie Guest diminish.

Guest was second for the third time as Tilley added the Super Combi to the Downhill and Super G titles. Tilley said: “I have trained more in Giant Slalom than her this year, and that is showing a bit. In that one I maybe have the advantage but in Slalom we are close.

No skier has yet managed to get close to Thomas “TJ” Baldwin in the men’s events at the championships and the Super Combi followed the same pattern as he took the title.
